Our Commitment to Accessibility

Midwest Cyber, LLC is committed to ensuring that our website (www.midwestcyber.net) is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every person deserves full and equal access to information about our cybersecurity consulting services, regardless of ability.

Accessibility Standard

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the benchmark referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA compliance and are the standard mandated by the DOJ’s April 2024 final rule for state and local government websites under ADA Title II.

Current Status

We conduct periodic accessibility reviews of our website and are actively remediating identified issues. Our most recent accessibility audit was completed in February 2026. We are implementing improvements on an ongoing basis, including enhancements to image descriptions, keyboard navigation, focus indicators, color contrast, and ARIA attributes for assistive technology compatibility.

Measures We Have Taken

  • Included a “Skip to Content” navigation link for keyboard users
  • Implemented descriptive page titles across the site
  • Adopted responsive design to support content reflow at increased text sizes
  • Conducted a comprehensive WCAG 2.1 AA compliance audit of the homepage
  • Developed a phased remediation roadmap to address all identified issues
  • Added visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Implemented ARIA roles and labels for interactive elements

Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following areas under active remediation and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible:

  • Some images may have generic or missing alternative text descriptions
  • Video content may not yet have synchronized captions or transcripts
  • Some interactive elements may have limited keyboard accessibility
